Word from the Pastor
I was watching a show one night about a young lady who became ill. She was in the hospital with them trying to figure out what was wrong with her, she just got worse. They finally found the problem and it was not good, she was not going to live. She did not want to give up and the Doctor came up with a possibility; it was a surgery and procedure that was only a trial. She said do it but her boy fiend was afraid of her dying in surgery. the doctor told them with it she had a chance, some hope without it there was no hope at all. As I heard that I thought "that is so human", sometime there is not hope. that thought made me so thankful that our salvation is not in the hands of a human but in the hands of the living Son of God, in whom there is always hope. Jesus does not just give us hope He is our hope. always be encouraged. Col. 1:27 "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, THE HOPE of Glory".
